Best Cardio Workout Medicine Ball Exercises
Today I got a question from somebody online. She had broken both bones in her lower leg and recently got the external fixation device removed. She wanted to know in 4 weeks what she can do for cardio and weight training. It reminded me about the best cardio workout which I recently did on my website.
I told her that she may want to get into boxing which kicks the hell out of the hand bike. Another good alternative for people who cant walk is medicine ball workouts. Since medicine balls weigh something, swinging them around for even a small amount of time can be difficult. For someone who is very immobile on their feet, a good core and cardio workout can be accomplished by swinging a medicine ball in wood chop motions.
Getting back to cardio. Just as weight lifters scoff at people who don’t lift weights correctly or lift weights which are too light, hardcore cardioholics scoff at the people who are performing a turtle or snail style workout in the gym.
I myself try to be balanced with a combination of power, strength and cardio and I see no point to doing long duration cardio unless your goal is to compete in endurance events.
By far the best cardio workout is wrestling but since I don’t wrestle, boxing and calisthenics are a good way to get a quick high intensity cardio workout in. I listed some other machine combos which I like as cardio workouts.
My next page on my site I have to work on is about medicine ball exercises. Luckily I already have a bunch of videos on my youtube channel. I wanted to start the page today but I had to previo.uslydeal with a funky server problem in which I couldn’t publish. Being impatient I called customer support to no avail. Fortunately and miraculously my server just working out of the blue.
Well I need to start working on my medicine ball workout page. I will focus on medicine ball exercises for strength. Since my website is for the average person these exercises are more relative to the kind of training they should be doing. Power exercises with medicine balls are great but I can’t see a 35 year old house wife power tossing a medicine ball into their living room wall.
