I'm Slacking off Again

Posted by Mike Behnken, MS, CSCS

I have not been blogging as often as I should. That is not why I say I’m slacking off again. I have my Japanese class final this Saturday and I have a lot of studying to do if I have any chance to pass. That is not why I’m slacking off either.

I’m slacking off because I have an article to write about shoulder stabilization which I get paid for and I haven’t started it yet. The rough draft is due ASAP so I better start putting my ideas onto paper, or MS Word.

The good news is I know enough about shoulder stabilization to write a book so an article of less than 2000 words should be no problem.  I spent around 2 hours this morning “tweaking” or optimizing my website fitSF.com which I should have took a slower approach to making.  It sucks going back and editing all which I did a while ago.  I think by now the site is as big as it will get.  I’m concentrating all my energy now, other than articles and Japanese on AskTheTrainer.com which I hope to release sometime this summer.

I have web designers in Pakistan who are designing my big website project. I haven’t heard from them since last week. I hope they didn’t get blown up in a suicide bombing. I still haven’t received the domain which I plan to use for my huge website project. It is not really a huge rush, but is still pissing me off that something that should take 5 mouse clicks has took almost 2 weeks.

I have been doing training videos with my Canon HG10 Camcorder and I’m impressed. I’m stupid for not reading the manual though. I know if I want to downgrade the quality of the HiDef audio files I will be looking at spending some serious time messing with a new editing program. I would love some recommendations, I run windows Vista with a pretty powerful processor.
